coen Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 AGENDA COTTONWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DESIGN SYMPOSIUM Billings Public Schools Lillis Center at St. John’s – 2429 Mission Way – Southside Lower Level (access at Poly and Shiloh) 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM Monday, December 8, 2008 All Symposium participants should arrive to start work promptly at 5:30 pm and be prepared to participate until 9:00 PM. 5:30 pm – 5:40 am Greetings, introductions and David Trost, task force co-chair comments from visitors. 5:40 pm – 5:50 pm The District’s Perspective Kathy Kelker, School Board Chair and Vision for Education “Encouragement to Dream” 5:50 pm – 6:00 pm Rules, instructions John Eisen, JGA and expected outcomes for the evening. Break task force into two design groups, distribute design materials. Grab some pizza and go into assigned design studio. 6:00 pm – 8:00 am School design session Blue Team and JGA staff Red Team and JGA staff 8:00 pm – 8:15 pm Present design concept Blue Team to large group 8:15 pm – 8:30 pm Present design concept Red Team to large group 8:30 pm – 9:00 pm Consensus on John Eisen, JGA “Best of the Best” design Terry Sukut, JGA components for the new school 9:00 pm Wrap up, adjourn.
