coen Posted May 4, 2009 Report Share Posted May 4, 2009 McKinley Task Force Meeting Thursday, April 30th, 6:30-8:00 pm McKinley School Gym 6:36 Meeting called to order by chair Kevin Odenthal Present: Kevin Odenthal (Chair), Bert Reyes, Kristin Graves, Lisa DuBeau, Sara Olsgaard, Amy Griffin, Heather Zindt, Anne Marie Wade, Jeffrey Kay. Ex-Officio Member: Bert Reyes Pledge Public Comment: March 19th Task Force Meeting minutes approved – motion by Heather Zindt, seconded Jeffrey Kay Ann Marie Wade provided an overview and explanation of the bond process, including tax-credit bonds. Task Force report for May 4th board meeting – Amy reiterated what our charge as a task force is, design a renovation plan and to promote the design to the community. There was discussion on whether giving a recommendation on the bond question was part of the charge of this task force. The task force decided that determining what the bond question is a duty of the school board. The task force assisted Kevin in drafting the recommendation that will be shared at the May 4th board meeting. Motion to adjourn meeting made by B.
