coen Posted August 13, 2012 Report Share Posted August 13, 2012 Proceedings of the Board of Trustees District No. 2, Yellowstone County High School District No. 2, Yellowstone County Billings, Montana August 6, 2012 Call to Order The Agenda Setting Meeting of the Board of Trustees of School District No. 2, Yellowstone County, Montana, and the High School District, Yellowstone County, Montana was duly held at the Lincoln Center, 415 North 30th Street, Billings, Montana on Monday, August 6, 2012. The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chair Teresa Stroebe. She led those assembled in Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call Those attending were: Trustees Pam Ellis, Teresa Stroebe, Allen Halter, Greta Besch Moen, Lindy Graves, Travis Kemp; Clerk Leo Hudetz, Superintendent Terry Bouck, and District Administrator Karen Palmer. Registered guest was Chris Goodrich. COMMUNICATION FROM THE PUBLIC There was no communication from the public. agenda setting Chair Stroebe presented the draft of the agenda for the regular meeting on August 16. The policy updates will be moved to the retreat agenda. Presentations will include safe routes to school, obesity and Indian Education for All. The Superintendent handed out the back-to-school letter being sent to staff. He invited the board to the opening meeting on Tuesday, August 21 at 7:30 a.m. at Alberta Bair Theater. For his report to the board he will include information on some of the meetings being held. For trustee school visits there will be a draft of the proposed visitation schedule as well as a checklist so trustees can compare notes and address common issues. The annual budget meeting will be held before the regular meeting on the 20th. Trustee Moen asked about a report from Mark Wahl regarding existing signage. Trustee Ellis moved and Trustee Kemp seconded to adjourn the agenda setting meeting for training of AgendaQuick. All trustees voted in favor and the motion passed unanimously.
