1. REPORT ON PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS

Update from Peggie/Tim on scheduled public presentations and assigned speakers; update on presentations to Pachyderm Club, getting meeting set up with the city, and presentation to SD2 Business and Education committees; discussion of key points to make during public presentations based on questions/issues raised during presentations already made

 

2. PROPOSED SALE OF CROSSROADS

Status of buy/sell on this property; response of SD2 Business Committee to committee concerns about sale

 

3. SCENARIO COSTS

Discuss costs estimated for implementing the high school scenarios (capital and operating costs); review itemization of capital costs prepared by Randy; update from Tim on operating cost estimates

 

4. SCENARIO REDISTRICTING

Update from Tim on number and location of Riverside students currently bused to West that could be bused to Senior

 

5. OUTPOST ARTICLES; GAZETTE GUEST EDITORIAL

Discuss planned articles for publication in Outpost (topics: scenarios, model communications process, 9th graders in the middle schools, other?); guest editorial for Gazette on model communications process used by our committee

 

6. UPDATE ON SCENARIOS HANDOUT DISTRIBUTION

Update on conversations with Jeff Weldon and Business Committee re posting scenario info and Public Comment Form on SD2 websites and sending the info home with students in backpacks (K-6) or by mailing with school newsletters (grades 7-12). Stack of handouts available at Lincoln Center info desk.

 

7. STATUS OF REPORT SECTIONS

Updates from Matt, Randy, and Tim re progress on report sections related to 1) internet and videoconferencing technologies (as part of building renovations), 2) replacing vs. renovating Senior High, 3) features and benefits of alternate heating and cooling methodologies, and 4) population/enrollment projections.

 

8. OTHER BUSINESS?
