A - WELCOME AND ORIENTATION TO THE MEETING Pledge to Flag Roll Call THE CHAIR SHALL STATE: Welcome to the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Billings Elementary and High School District. Agendas and welcoming information about the conduct of the meeting are available at the table in the back of the room. If you plan to speak to the Board tonight, please familiarize yourself with that information, then fill out and submit the public comment form. This is used to help me to recognize you properly at the appropriate time, and to assist me in running the meeting smoothly. B – COMMUNICATION FROM THE PUBLIC Anyone wishing to address an item listed on the agenda, but not wanting to wait for the scheduled time, may do so now. (No action will be taken by the Board until the scheduled agenda time.) If you have not already done so, please fill out the public comment form available at the back of the room. This will allow me to recognize you properly before you address the Board. In addition, the Trustees will receive written communication at this time. C – WORK SESSION (LED BY JEFF WELDON, COUNSEL) CONCERNING EXPULSION AND SUSPENSION LAW D – EXPULSION HEARING – JEFF WELDON WILL ASK THE BOARD TO CLOSE THE MEETING FOR THIS HEARING. SUGGESTED ACTION: The Board Chairman shall state the following: I will now close the meeting “for the purpose of holding a discussion that relates to a matter of individual privacy where it has been determined that the demands of individual privacy clearly exceed the merits of public disclosure.” (2-3-203 MCA) E – BOARD WILL HAVE A DISCUSSION OF LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVES ADJOURNMENT Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
