Diane Blevins Posted December 13, 2006 Report Share Posted December 13, 2006 Proceedings of the Board of Trustees District No. 2, Yellowstone County High School District No. 2, Yellowstone County Billings, Montana December 6, 2006 Call to Order The Special Board meeting of the Board of Trustees of School District No. 2, Yellowstone County, Montana, and High School District, Yellowstone County, Montana, was duly held at The Lincoln Center, 415 North 30th Street, Billings, Montana, December 6, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. Those present included: Trustees Katharin Kelker, Joel Guthals, Rachel Stagg, Malcolm Goodrich, Dawn Achten, Superintendent Jack Copps, Scott Anderson, Kathy Olson, Thomas Harper, District Clerk Leo Hudetz, Dennis Himmelberger, Wanda Grinde, Paul Manning, Cori Cook, Jim Duncan, Robyn Driscoll, Jock Michelloti, Darren Holmes, Larry Tompkins, Ala Abdel-ghafour, Ron Tussing, Kathy Olson, Bill Glaser, Gary Branae, Pam Hofferber, Keith Cook, Bruce McIntyre, Pat Bellinghausen, Ken Peterson, Senator Kim Gillan, Vern Mohlis, Nancy Boyer, Joe McClure, Dan Martin, Gail Surwill, Senator Lynda Moss, Ernie Dutton, Dave Worstell, Colleen Nichols, John Cech, Rich Whitney, and Susan Sullivan. Superintendent Copps, Jim Duncan, Bruce McIntyre, and John Cech addressed those present in support of the Billings Public Schools. Those present met in focus groups to discuss funding challenges, facilities and deferred maintenance and entitlement inequities, all-day kindergarten, and recruitment and retention of teachers.
